CISCommunities In Schools works within the public school system, determining student needs and establishing relationships with local businesses, social service agencies, health care providers, and parent and volunteer organizations to provide needed resources.

We are a nationwide network of passionate professionals working in public schools to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life.

Our 70,000 volunteers make it possible for Communities In Schools to serve more than 1.25 million young people each year. Serving as a mentor, volunteering to read to a student, tutoring students in various subjects... There are many ways to volunteer.
